Hubballi: Police sources said, rubber bullets were fired at the mob in order to control them last night.
The police also said that they had opened fire on 13 rounds of fire in the air and lobbed tear gas.
The mob was so furious that if the bullets were not fired in the air, they could have entered the station and could have easily destroyed the station.
