Hubballi: The RSS will hold a route march in Hubballi on Sunday

Hubballi: The path sanchalan (route march) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be held in the city on Sunday to commemorate Vijaydashami, which is also the RSS’s foundation day.

In Hubballi, the routemarch will be held on the first Sunday after Vijaydashami, whereas it is held on Vijayadashmi day in other parts of the state and country, said RSS volunteer Prabhu Umadi.

The volunteers would march on two routes. It will begin at 3.30 PM. On the first route that starts from Neharu Stadium and culminates at the same venue, the volunteers will traverse through Krishna Bhavan, Kambli Road, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Dajibanpet , Tulajabhavani Circle, Pendar Galli, Sri Shankar Math, Kanchgar Galli, Hirepet, Sarafgatti Circle, Javalisal, Belagavi Galli, and Durgadbail Circle, where the volunteers who took the second route will merge with them and they all proceed to Nehru Ground via Broadway, Shivaji Circle, Koppikar Road, and Krishna Bhavan.

The volunteers taking part in pathasanchalana in the second route start their march from Nehru Ground, and reach the same venue by passing through Town Hall, JC Nagar, Shakti Road, Station Road, Ganesh Pet Circle, CBT, Makandargalli, Mangalwarpete, Itagi Maruti Galli, Radhakrishna Galli, and Durgadbail, where they merge with the volunteers of route one and proceed with them till Nehru Grounds.

Volunteers taking part in the route march have to be in full uniform with the stick. After the procession, there will be an open rally at the ground at 5.15 PM. The RSS officials said Dr Arun Yalmali will be the chief guest for the occasion, and RSS leader Na Tippeswamy will deliver the keynote address.
