Hubballi: Accidents related to the selfie craze are not new, and to this list one more accident was added, and this one is from Hubballi.
A college youth staying in Hubballi suffered 55% burn injuries after his effort to take a selfie on a goods rail went horribly wrong. Vinayak K, 17, a Laxmeshwar native, has been identified as the young man. Police said that the youth and his friends were trying to take a selfie standing below the electric wire line on a goods train wagon, but all of a sudden the victim’s dress touched the wire and he suffered burn injuries.
His friends shifted him to KIMS Hospital immediately, but his parents took him to Belagavi for treatment, said the railway police.
