Hubballi: On January 12th, 2023, the South Western Railway Hubballi achieved a Guinness World Record for the longest railway platform, measuring 1,507 meters in length.
The platform was constructed as part of a larger renovation project aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of train operations, as well as enhancing passenger amenities and comfort. The record-breaking platform is now a noteworthy feature of the Hubballi Railway Station.
