Hubballi: The twin cities police have successfully solved the viral Instagram reels case, where college girls’ faces were edited onto explicit videos and pictures. They have arrested two more people related to the case. The police arrested one accused earlier.
The accused had tried to divert attention by introducing a communal angle and challenging the police. However, the police worked effectively to solve the case. It was found that one of the accused had technical skills and a long-standing grudge, which led to this incident.
Hubballi-Sub Urban police Inspector MS Hugar, who had experience in cybercrime, led the team that solved the case. They recovered three mobile phones and SIM cards from the suspects. The police are further investigating to make sure no one else was involved and to cover all possibilities.
