Hubballi: The police on Thursday conducted a raid on a house based on a definite tip-off and seized four litres of spirit mixed with water and arrested an accused.
Kamaripet police conducted the raid and seized the spirit. Police sources said that the accused was selling the spirit mixed with the water. The accused was earlier apprehended by police for the same offence. The police said that they are investigating where he got the spurious liquid. They said that they would strict action against such offenders. The seized spirit was worth around Rs 4,500.
