Hubballi: A mother and daughter drowned in a farm pond in Byahatti village in Hubballi Rural police station limits, and their dead bodies were found on Friday.
According to the sources, the deceased Muktumbi Mabusab Naikar,38 and her daughter Shainaz Mabusab Naikar,16 who went to farm fields near Byahattii village to get grass for cattle on Tuesday, accidentally fell in the farm pond dug in a farm field. The bodies were found floating in the pond, and alert residents informed the police. Hubballi Rural Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies for the postmortem.
