Hubballi: Miscreants have stolen gold ornaments weighing about 190 grams, worth Rs 9.5 lakh, from a lady passenger’s vanity bag. The passenger was travelling to her son’s house in Sangolli Rayanna Nagar in Hubballi from Belagavi on December 13 when this incident happened.
Parvati Gurupadappa Bentur, 63, is the lady passenger who lost her gold ornaments. When she reached home, she realised the valuables were missing and found that her vanity zip was half open. Miscreants might have stolen the ornaments on the journey, said the police. APMC Navanagar police have registered a case.
