Hubballi: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines, and Coal, Pralhad Joshi, led by Kshmata Seva Samsthe, has organised a two-day international kite festival on January 21 and 22 on 20 acres of land located opposite Venkatramana temple on JK School Road in the city.
Speaking to reporters, Kshmata Seva Samsthe convenor Govind Joshi remarked during a news conference in the city on Thursday that the kite festival has been going on for four years. A variety of cultural programmes are also planned. The kite festival will include 25 contestants from 15 nations, including London, England, America, and France, according to him. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi will kick off the kite festival on the 21st at 10.30 a.m.
