Hubballi: Sub Urban police inspector Ravichandra DB helped a man who was injured in an accident near Gujarat Bhavan in the city on Sunday. He drove the injured to a private hospital in his jeep and assisted him in receiving timely treatment.
The gesture of the inspector is winning the hearts of the people of Hubballi-Dharwad.Â
Pralhad Rao, 72, a resident of Hubballi was crossing the road near Gujarat Bhavan when a speeding two wheeler hit him. The Sub Urban inspector was going on the same route in his Jeep when he noticed the accident and stopped his vehicle. With the assistance of locals, he quickly transferred the injured to his vehicle and rushed him to Vivekanand Hospital in Deshpande Nagar.
The inspector said that the traffic police held the bike rider, and they were registering a case against him.
