Hubballi: Gokul Road police nab an accused wanted in 13 cases, absconding for ten years

Hubballi: The Gokul Road police eventually nabbed an accused wanted in 13 cases, including dacoity, robbery, and housebreaking thefts. The accused had been absconding for 10 years and evading arrest said the police.
The police said the accused is Raju Gangappa Kamajeni; he has cases against him at various police stations. The police team, led by Inspector JM Kaliimrchi, and PSI Devendra Mavinadandi arrested the accused.

According to Inspector Kalimirchi, Constables Raju Tigani and Mahesh Bennur got information that the accused was in Chikkamagalur and its surrounding areas. The police claimed both constables travelled to Chikkamagaluru, searched the man for four days while concealing their identities, and then arrested him. The accused is currently in judicial custody, according to the police.
