Hubballi: In a recent crackdown on mobile phone use while driving, the Hubballi-Dharwad Police have taken strict action against motorists who violate this rule. During a special drive, the police booked 21 cases and imposed fines totaling Rs 31,500 on those caught using their mobile phones while driving.
This move is aimed at promoting safe driving practices and reducing the number of accidents caused by distracted driving.
Bendigeri Police Seize 760 Grams of Ganja, Arrest Two Accused
The Bendigeri police have successfully seized 760 grams of ganja and arrested two individuals for allegedly selling the cannabis near KEB Grid on Halyal Road. Acting on a definite tip-off, the police caught the accused red-handed and confiscated the total seized item, which was valued at Rs 22,800.
