Hubballi: The state government executed a significant reshuffle of police inspectors, with a total of 211 inspectors being transferred across the state. Among those affected, Gokul Road Inspector JM Kalimirchi, known for his people-friendly approach, has been transferred to the Malamaruti station in Belagavi city. He will be succeeded by Praveen G Nilammanavar, who was previously stationed at Malur police station in Shivamogga.
Several other inspectors have also been reassigned to different locations. Notably, Jayant Gouli has been moved from Gadag police station to Vidyanagar station, while Santosh Pawar has been transferred to Haveri Rural circle. Manjunath G Hiremath, who previously served at APMC/Navanagar station, has now been posted to PTS Khanapur.
Further transfers include Mohammad Rafiq M Tahsildar, who will now join Hubballi city police from Hukkeri police station. Jackson Desouza has been transferred to Hubballi East police station from HESCOM in Karwar, and Nagayya has been moved to Dharwad city police station.
Other inspectors affected by the reshuffle include Siddabasavangouda C Patil, who has been relocated from Garag Police station to Nandagad Police station in Belagavi, with Shamir Mulla taking his place. Channakeshav T will now serve in city SB Belagavi, having previously been stationed at Hubballi Dharwad City SB. Vishwanth Chougale, who was at the Chikkodi circle, has been transferred to Hubballi-Dharwad CCB.
Basavangouda K Patil is set to assume the role of Inspector of CEN Hubballi Dharwad, while Altaf Mulla, the Twin cities CCB inspector, has been transferred to Camp police station in Belagavi, with Alishaik taking over his former position.
