Hubballi: A 63-year-old man’s dead body was found on the banks of Rayanal Lake on the outskirts of the city this morning. The deceased has been identified as Basappa Gadigeppa Shivalli, a resident of Shivalli and a porter by profession.
The police said that the man might have died by suicide; they said they ran the background check and found that he was a habitual drinker and used to quarrel with the family members. It looks like he might have ended his life, but the police are investigating the case from all angles, they said. The Old Hubballi police have registered a case in this regard.
