Hubballi: According to JDS state president CM Ibrahim, the Congress party will win 40 seats in the upcoming assembly election, the BJP will fall to third place, and the JD(S) will form the next government.
Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Ibrahim said, “JDS will fulfil all the promises it made to the public, and if it fails to deliver, we will not seek votes again in the future.”
He said that his party will rule the state and that promises made during the Pancharatna Yatre will be fulfilled.

Ibrahim said that not only is his son contesting the election from the Humnabad constituency, but he is also considering running from a constituency. Since he was the state president of the party and had to travel a lot, the constituency was not finalized. The party leadership will decide on the constituency, he said.
