Hubballi: The former Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai, criticized the Congress government, labeling it a “reverse gear government.” He stated that his party would take to the streets if injustice was done to the people. According to him, the government’s arrogance led them to change everything once they came into power.
Addressing reporters at his residence in Vijaya Nagar, Bommai expressed his awareness of the Congress party’s indulgence in appeasement politics. He questioned their ability to fulfill the promises they made, noting their backward progress. The consequences of this approach are evident to the public. “We did not anticipate that this government would engage in revenge politics so soon,” he remarked.
