Hubballi: An alert bus conductor got off the bus as it was rolling backwards after a break malfunction while moving on a steep road in Murarji Nagar in Hubbballi, preventing a major tragedy. He warned the vehicles pursuing the bus, forcing them off the road. Otherwise, according to eyewitnesses, the bus may have hit or run over the bikes.
The bus was going to RM Lohia Nagar from CBT and the incident happened 12.05 p.m. The bus had eight passengers, and they did not suffer any injury.
