Hubballi Central Constituency: Six Congress Leaders Submit Application Seeking Party Ticket

Hubballi: As Monday was the last date for submitting applications for party tickets to contest the next Assembly election, many Congress leaders have submitted an application seeking the party ticket to contest from Hubballli Dharwad Central Assembly constituency after paying the prescribed fee to the KPCC.

Former mayor, Hubballi Dharwad rural district president Anilkumar Patil, Vidyanagar Block Congress president Rajat Ullagaddimath, KPCC general secretary Shakir Sanadi, Hubballi Dharwad city district general secretary Girish Gadageppagoudar, and HDMC member Niranjan Hiremath have submitted an application requesting the party ticket to contest the election from Hubballi Dharwad Central constituency.

Interestingly, Shakir Sanadi has submitted an application seeking a ticket from HD Central as well as the Shiggaon Assembly constituency.

Anil Kumar Patil expressed confidence that he would get the party ticket and said that the party would honour his experience and the work he did for the party. He said he is continuously in touch with the residents of the constituency.

Niranjanayya Hiremath, who was the first to apply on November 12, said that he has good chance of getting a ticket as he belongs to the Jangama community, has worked for the betterment of society, and is currently working as an HDMC member. He said the party would recognise his ability and give him a ticket to contest the election.

Rajat Ullagaddimath said he is very sure that he will get the party ticket as he worked very hard for building the party and put his heart and soul into the organization. He claimed he is a grass-roots party worker and has spent 14 years in the party. And he expressed confidence that Congress would definitely recognize his efforts.

Shakir Sanadi said that he is an aspirant to two constituencies, and the party’s high command would definitely give him a ticket to contest in one constituency. He said he has good connections in both constituencies. He expressed confidence that the party would recognize his work and contribution and said he has already prepared the ground to contest the election.

Girish Gadigeppagoudar said that the party would give the ticket to him to contest the election

Party’s city district president Altaf Hallur said that exact figures emerge tomorrow, there could be other leaders also who have submitted an application seeking the party ticket.
