Hubballi: On Saturday, the CCB police in Hubballi seized Rs 3 crore illegally stored in a businessman’s house, in Bhavani Nagar. The raid was conducted by ACP Narayan Bharmani and his team based on a tip-off.
Sources said that the raids were conducted on the house of Ramesh Bonageri, Police said that they found Rs 3 crore in the house, all having a face value of Rs 500. They are gathering more details about the money and they sought help from the Income Tax department as it may be a case of tax evading as well.
