Hubballi: A teenager who was roaming suspiciously with a knife in his pocket has been caught by the Sub Urban police.
The boy was roaming in front of Sai Lodge, located opposite the Old Bus Stand, suspiciously on Tuesday morning, and the police patrolling team noticed the boy’s behaviour, questioned him, and found that he kept a knife in his pocket. Later, during an inquiry, the boy allegedly told police that he kept it for his safety. According to the police, the boy had filed a complaint against someone at a police station in Hubballi’s South Sub Division and was keeping the knife out of fear that someone would attack him for filing the complaint. The boy was charged under the Arms Act, 1959 (U/s-27(1)), said the police.
