Hubballi: A cloth merchant allegedly died by suicide by jumping into Unkal Lake on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Donghadi, 39, a resident of Keshwapur. Family sources said that his brother Raju also died because of brain haemorrhage on Monday.
Police said that Sunil had borrowed money from a few moneylenders and they were harassing him to repay the loan. He allegedly left a WhatsApp message about his extreme step.
