Home Minister Araga Jnanedra says the Hubballi violence was not an intelligence failure.

Hubballi: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra visited the Old Hubballi police station on Sunday evening and said that the last night’s violence in Hubballi was not an intelligence failure but a spontaneous incident. He asked the policemen to probe the incident from all angles.

He said he demanded the police check whether any organisation was behind the violence. He suspected the role of a few organisations behind this incident. Although police arrested the accused who allegedly shared a derogatory video and announced his announcement before the protesters, despite the fact that they continued the protest and made it violent, the role of some organisations can’t be ignored, he said.

He said strict action would be taken against the violators no matter who they are.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi demanded strict action against the accused who were responsible for the violence. He ordered the police to take strict action no matter who the people were.
