Hubballi: Shivarajkumar, the much-admired Kannada superstar, led a mammoth roadshow in support of Congress party candidate Jagadish Shettar for the Hubballi-Dharwad Central constituency.
Commencing from Nagashetty Koppa’s Hanuman temple, the high-octane event was a spectacle to behold, attracting people from all walks of life who thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of the legendary actor.
As Shettar and the star waved at the crowd, people stood on high-rise buildings and balconies, enthusiastically cheering them on. This marks the first time that a star has campaigned for Shettar, and in the evening, AICC’s former chief Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and AICC President Kharge will campaign for all Dharwad district candidates.
Shivarajkumar was joined by his wife Geetha, and other Congress leaders.
