Belagavi: Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has cleared up the uncertainty over his sister-in-law Bhavani Revanna‘s contesting this assembly election from the Hassan assembly seat in the next assembly election is not compelling.
Speaking to reporters, HDK said that there are no confusions with regard to announcing the ticket for the Hassan Assembly constituency. “We need to win the election, and we will do everything we can to do so.”The issue of announcing Hassan and Hole Narasipur’s tickets to candidates will be resolved within a week,” he said, adding that the JD(S) is working hard to win 123 seats in the election and will keep the promises made during the Pancharatna Yatre if elected.
He stated that he would be visiting Arasikere tomorrow as part of Yatre and would announce Arasikere’s JD(S) candidate. He also said that announcements regarding candidates in Uttara Kannada district will be made within a week.
He also said that if the better candidates were found in a constituency, the announced ticket would go to the strong candidate.
