Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai went on a temple-visiting binge to atone for his misdeeds during his tenure, according to senior Congress politician and opposition leader in the legislative council B K Hariprasad on Thursday.
During a news conference in Udupi, Hariprasad accused the BJP government of being riddled with corruption and malpractices during the previous four years. “The Chief Minister is now doing penance for all sins,” he explained.
The MLC said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who “did not care” to visit Chamarajanagar during the Covid outbreak, could find time for a nature trip in Bandipur lately because of the election.
He stated that former DCM Laxman Savadi is a senior politician, and anybody who agrees with the party’s principles may join it.
