Hampi monuments lit up in tricolour lights

As part of the Centre’s Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the country’s 75th anniversary of independence, all historical monuments in the country have been lit up in tricolour lights.

In the backdrop of this celebration, the monuments at World Heritage site Hampi lit with tricolour lights. Minister for Heavy Industries Murugesh Nirani shared photographs Hampi monuments on Koo, a microblogging site.

He wrote “The monuments of our historic city of Hampi are lit up with the colours of our tricolour on the occasion of our nation’s 75 years of independence. A beautiful and inspirational sight. ”
