Raichur: In a startling incident, unidentified individuals fired gunshots at a doctor in the vicinity of Saath Mile Cross on the outskirts of the city earlier today. The target of this attack was Dr. Jayaprakash Bettadur, who was en route from Raichur to Manavi in his car at the time of the incident.
Miraculously, the bullets struck the car’s front hood, and the doctor managed to emerge unharmed. Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants, traveling on a motorcycle, quickly fled the scene after discharging the firearm. Raichur Rural Police have officially filed a case, and Superintendent of Police Nikhil B paid a visit to the location to assess the situation. The motive behind the attack on the doctor remains unknown.
Jayaprakash Patil, is a gynecologist, laparoscopic, and pelvic surgeon at the Bettadur Super Speciality Hospital in Raichur.
