Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched new metro services in Mumbai on Thursday, riding alongside Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy, Devendra Fadnavis, between stations of Gundavali and Mogra that are part of the Metro line 7 phase 2. Fadnavis encouraged Twitter followers to guess what the three leaders were talking about by tweeting a snapshot of their trip between Gundavali and Mogra stations.
“Guess the discussion,” read the tweet that accompanied the images of the leaders smiling and talking.
The PM also talked with a group of young commuters, metro train staff, and ladies throughout the journey.
During his visit to Mumbai yesterday, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for many projects costing over 38,000 crore.
