Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in Sandur
Ballari: As the state will be going for polls most likely in the month of April this year, the BJP is trying to make utilization of their national-level leaders’ charisma to gain voters. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was on a whirlwind tour of the poll-bound state just a few days ago, is visiting Sandur town in Ballari district on February 23.
Speaking to reporters, Transport Minister B Sriramulu said on Saturday that Shah will address an open rally in Sandur on that day. More than one lakh people expected to attend the rally, he said.
The minister also said that the home minister would chair a meeting with the leaders of Ballari, Raichur, and Koppal in Toranagallu on that day.
He lashed out at the Congress party leaders for attending the budget session wearing flowers on their ears, breaking protocol. He said that the Congress leaders are disturbed by the BJP government’s performance.
