Hubballi: The Rani Chennamma Maidan Gajanan Utsav Mahamandal has formally applied for permission from the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) to install a Ganesha idol at the Idgah Maidan in Hubballi. Additionally, they are seeking authorization for an 11-day celebration and worship of the deity.
Under the guidance of its president, advocate Sanjeev Badskar, the Mahamandal’s team submitted a comprehensive memorandum to both the HDMC Commissioner and the Police Commissioner, formally requesting the necessary permissions. They have expressed their willingness to cover the ground rent, as determined by the HDMC, and are fully committed to fulfilling all conditions set by the HDMC.
