Hospete: A fuel tanker truck transporting diesel caught fire after it veered off the road and turned turtle near Harapanahalli railway gate in Vijayanagar district on Sunday.
It is said that a person died in the fire accident, but details were not immediately available. The accident happened near Bendigeri Road. The truck might have suffered a technical glitch while ascending a hilly road near Harapanahalli. The police and fire departments rushed to the scene and began attempting to extinguish the flames.
