Vijayapura: In a horrific accident four people, including a kid, were killed in a road accident near Honaganahalli village in Babaleshwar taluk on National Highway-50 on Wednesday.
The accident happened when a car collided with a lorry that was stopped after developing some technical snag on the road. The lorry driver who was repairing the lorry died on the spot including three passengers of the car.
The police gave the names of the deceased as Manjunath Mundewadi, 42, Savitri Mundewadi, 37, Aaradhya Mundewadi, 8, and truck driver Tahir Pathan, 33.
According to the sources, two other passengers of the car were seriously injured and they are being treated at a hospital. The car was going towards Vijaypura added the sources.
