Dharwad: Four achievers from Dharwad will be honoured with the prestigious Rajyotsava Award. The Karnataka government will present the award to 65 achievers on November 1 as part of the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations. After the ‘Karnataka Ratna,’ this is the second highest civilian honour in Karnataka.
Four achievers from Dharwad have been selected for this year’s Rajyotsava Award:
Dattatreya Govind Kulkarni for his contribution to the field of sports; Adavayya Hiremath for his contribution to the field of Doddata; Savitri Pujar for Janapada; Anatacharya Balacharya for his contribution to the field of music.
