DB Inamdar, a former Congress minister, passed away at the age of 74 on Tuesday morning. He had been hospitalized at Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru due to age-related ailments. Inamdar had represented the Kittur constituency on five occasions and had served as a minister in the Devaraj Urs, SM Krishna, and S Bangarappa governments.
Inamdar had expressed his desire to contest the upcoming election from the Kittur constituency on the Congress ticket. However, the party had denied his request, citing his poor health.
