Gadag: Former MLA from Gadag constituency, Shrishailappa Bidarur, passed away on Friday. The Congress leader suffered a heart attack in Bengaluru while attending a party meeting; he was immediately shifted to Manipal Hospital, but he did not respond to the treatment.
Bidarur had recently submitted an application to the KPCC seeking party ticket to contest the election.Bidarur was in BJP till 2019. He won the election from the Gadag constituency in the year 2008.
