Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, who has been vocal against the government and has been alleging that the state government is supporting right-wing extremists by remaining silent, has condemned the incident of Hindu organisation members destroying watermelons that were being sold by a minority community man on the premises of Nuggikeri Hanuman temple.
He claimed that a few individuals in the name of Hindu organisations were attempting to disrupt the society’s peace and tranquility. According to the footage, the vandals were acting in an anti-social manner. He emphasized that he condemns such incidents regardless of who is involved in them, whether they are committed by Hindus, Muslims, or other groups. He requested that the state government punish these miscreants severely.
