Former Chief Minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy was admitted to Manipal Hospital on Old Airport Road on Saturday, after developing a fever. According to a bulletin issued by the hospital on Sunday, Kumaraswamy’s health condition is stable and he is recovering well.
Kumaraswamy had exhibited symptoms of exhaustion and generalized weakness and is under the supervision of Dr. Satyanarayana Mysore. All relevant medical tests are being carried out, and he is currently medically stable and recuperating.

Sources close to Kumaraswamy have suggested that his extensive travel across the state under the summer heat may have contributed to his exhaustion. The former CM will resume his campaign trail once he receives the go-ahead from his medical team.
