Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa met with the family of the late Harsha, a Hindu campaigner who was brutally murdered by miscreants recently in Shivamogga.
Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister KS Eshwarappa, as well as his son and MP BY Raghavendra, accompanied Yediyurappa. Yediyurppa presented a Rs 25 check to the family members of the late Hindu activist.
Yediyurappa said that Harsha was a budding Hindu activist and he used to mingle with everyone. He was a very dedicated activist. Miscreants killed him because of envy; they did not tolerate his growth, said Yediyurappa.
The family suffered a huge loss; I just gave them Rs. 25 lakh from the government. Yediyurappa said that God should give the family members strength to overcome the grief.
Hindus, Christians, and Muslims should live like sons of the same mother. They should leave harmoniously, he said.
