Goods van carrying 21 people was on the way to Yallamma temple in Saundatti
Belagavi: Five people were killed on the spot and 16 others suffered injuries after a goods van in which they were travelling rammed a tree near Chinchanur village in Ramadurg taluk in the wee hours of Thursday, according to sources.
According to the local sources, they were all going to the Yallamma temple in Saundatti when the accident happened. It is said that all those who died in the accident were residents of Hulkund village in Ramadurg taluk.
