Fire breaks out in Sanjivini Park, a few bamboo trees gutted

Hubballi: On Friday evening, a tiny fire broke out at Sanjivini Park, which is located between Hubballi and Dharwad. The fire and emergency services extinguished the flames after nearly an hour of fighting.

Sources said the firefighters reached the fire accident site with great difficulty because the front gate of the park was closed and no one was present to open the gate. However, the personnel entered the area from the rear entrance and sprayed water using a roughly 300 feet long pipe because the truck was unable to reach the scene of the fire accident, said sources.

Sources added that the fire destroyed around half an acre of land, primarily grass and a few bamboo trees.
