Finance Ministry Extends PAN-Aadhaar Linking Deadline
The deadline to link PAN and Aadhaar cards has been extended to June 30, 2023, and all unlinked PAN cards will become inoperative from July 1, 2023. Taxpayers have been given more time to link their Aadhaar and PAN cards without facing any penalties. This was announced in a notification by the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
