Fact check: the incident did not happen in Hubballi.

Recently, a video was circulating on social media platforms claiming Muslims chased away Hindus gathered in front of Jamiya Masjid in connection with the Azaan issue in Hubballi.

Karnataka Police Fact Check team verified the video’s validity and discovered that it was fake and that the incident never happened in Hubballi. They also explained that this incident occurred in Bangladesh and that miscreants were disseminating this footage saying that it occurred in Hubballi.

The Karnataka Police Fact Check team urged the public not to be misled by this false information and not to share any questionable material on social media sites.
