Hubballi: In a horrific incident that has sent shockwaves through the city of Hubballi, an eight-year-old boy was allegedly murdered and his lifeless body was discovered in the Doddamani Chawl in Bendigeri police station limits on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Rajeev M, informed the hubliexpress.com that the young boy was a resident of the Srinagar area near Unkal in Hubballi and had come to visit his grandmother’s house located in Ghantikeri during his vacation.
On Thursday evening, the boy went missing, but the boy was found murdered on Friday. The boy suffered injuries on his head. The police are investigating the case and the accused would be arrested at the earliest, he said and added that the body would be sent for post-mortem and the report would throw more light on the incident.
