Hubballi: Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh visited the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital on Tuesday and inquired about the health condition of Geeta Barker, a government school teacher who was brutally attacked by her colleague at the school in Nargund’s Hadli village.
Muttappa Hadagali, the accused, had killed her nine-year-old son Bharat by throwing him off the first floor of the school and brutally attacked Geeta when she tried to stop him.
Minister Nagesh termed the incident unfortunate; the students and teachers of the school were shocked by the incident, and counselling would be arranged to instil courage in them.
