Earthquake of 3.6 magnitude hits Maharashtra’s Palghar

Mumbai: According to the National Centre for Seismology’s official website, a magnitude earthquake 3.6 on the Richter Scale struck Maharashtra’s Palghar region on Thursday.

An earth tremor was observed at 7:07 a.m.

On June 30 at 9.35 p.m., another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 was registered.

According to the website, earthquakes of 2.7 magnitudes were felt in the Nagaon region of Assam around 9:02 p.m. on June 30.
