Six killed, 25 injured in a collision between a truck and a pickup in Raipur
Chief Minister announces to give four lakh each to the families of the deceased.
Raipur, May 15 (HS): Six people died in a fierce collision between a truck and a pickup vehicle on Monday morning on Goda Pulia Raipur-Balodabazar main road under Palari police station area in Balodabazar district.
23 people have been injured in this accident. Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and announced financial assistance to the families of the victims.
It was told that all of them were returning from the village in a pickup vehicle after attending the sixth programme. His pickup was hit by a truck in Palari police station area. Six people have died in the accident. The dead include a child and five women.
The deceased have been identified as Latuwa residents Dhaneshwari (35 years), Prabha Nayak, Agar Bai (60 years), Ghanshyam Fekar (6 years), Shanti Fekar (60 years) and Hema Dhruv.
Apart from this, Nitish Faker, Jyoti Faker, Govardhan Faker, Pinky Faker, Jai Singh Faker, Jyoti Faker, Atul, Shakuntala Sahu, Sahoda Bai, Budhwarin Faker, Manju Faker, Kiran’s father Tijram Faker, Durga Faker, Omprakash Faker, Shivkumar, Kumari Bina, Bhuvan Fekar, Premin Fekar and Kunti Sahu have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
On getting information about the accident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased. He has instructed the officials of the district administration to provide all possible help to the relatives of those killed in the accident and to provide better treatment facilities to the injured. The Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
In the second incident, a tragic road accident took place in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. Toofan (MUV) traveling from Tirumala to Tadipatri, collided with a lorry near the Chitravathi Bridge in Kondapuram Mandal. Tragically, seven individuals lost their lives on the spot in this horrific accident. Another four individuals sustained severe injuries and were promptly admitted to the hospital for treatment.
As soon as the police received the distress call, they swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations. The deceased have been identified as residents of Tadipatri, while the vehicle carried a total of 11 passengers at the time of the accident.
