DSERT crucial meeting on reopening of classes 1-5

Bengaluru: Will offline lessons for children in grades 1–5 start on October 21? Looking at the latest developments by the administration, it appears that offline lessons for students will likely begin from Thursday.

The Department of State Educational and Research and Training (DSERT) has organised a teleconference programme on October 18 to discuss the preparations that have to be made to start the lessons for students of grade 1 to grade 5 and to discuss the syllabus for the students and other issues related to this issue.

The meeting will be held between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm and it will be attended by BEO, BRC, BRP, ECO, CRP, DDPI, and others.

Most parents are eager to send their wards to school as the number of Covid cases is declining, and in many districts, the Covid positivity rate is zero or slightly below 1 per cent.
