Hubballi: According to airport officials, a grass fire broke out in the non-operational portion of Hubballi airport on Monday afternoon.
The officials claimed that the fire was contained and that it will be extinguished as quickly as possible. They stated that the fire started on the airport’s roadside and was not in an operating area.
According to airport officials, the source of the fire is unknown, however, someone may have tossed a lighted cigarette on dry grass, which will be examined.
