Dr SY Mulkipatil, a well-known surgeon, was honoured by the Karnataka Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) Kannada Sangh for his Kannada literary work. Despite being a busy surgeon, he penned a Kannada book about his father, “Avar Jeevana Avara Sandesh”, and it was released recently.
KIMS Director Dr Ramalingappa Antaratani, KIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Arunkumar C, CAO Rajeshwari Jainapur, principal Dr Ishwar Hosamani, Dr Smitha, Kartik Hiremath and others were present.
