Hubballi-based neurosurgeon Dr Kranthi Kiran has allegedly threatened his wife to kill her by giving a contract to the Supari killers.
His wife, Dr Shobha Sunagar, has filed a complaint with the Vidyanagar police (A copy of the FIR is available with hubliexpress.com). Dr Shobha stated in the police complaint that she and her husband had few disagreements in the last three years and that on October 24, Dr Kranthi Kiran entered her house located in Shirur Park and threatened her that if she did not leave the assets in her name and owned jointly with him, he would give Supari to killers to finish her off.
Dr Kranthi Kiran had assaulted her with his hands and pushed her against the wall with force, and as a result, she suffered internal injuries, she claimed.
Dr Kranthi Kiran’s Balaji Hospital accountant Maheshwari Hosagoudar threatened her in the same language, said Dr Shobha in the complaint.
A few days ago, Dr Kranthi Kiran had registered a case against his wife with Vidyanagar police alleging that she beat him with an umbrella.
